John Owen Jones Award winner sings VIDLA’s praises!

ImageLast year’s recipient of the inaugural John Owen Jones Award Samantha Laurilla has finished her course and has been kind enough to send in these glowing words about her experience:

To be the first recipient of the John Owen Jones scholarship was a great honour and I continue to be deeply appreciative of this amazing opportunity. Studying with VIDLA has equipped me with a wealth of knowledge, invaluable resources and the self-confidence I needed to embark on my career as a vocal coach.

Despite being a distance learning course, I always felt supported and was most fortunate to have Ria Keen as my personal tutor. Addressing my questions and concerns swiftly, she has been a constant source of advice, guidance and encouragement. A true inspiration, she has made my VIDLA experience educational, enriching and enlightening.

ImageI have recently completed my Diploma in Contemporary Vocal Teaching and was delighted to be awarded a High Distinction. This achievement would not have been possible without John, Ria and the entire VIDLA team, and I will be forever grateful for their immense generosity and unwavering support. A friendly and professional organisation, I whole-heartedly recommend studying with VIDLA.

Thank you Samantha! We can’t possibly say these things ourselves, but it’s lovely when other people do.

Samantha is based in Bournemouth and is a teacher definitely worth seeking out if you are looking for vocal training.
